Who we are and What we do
Electronics Club, IIT Guwahati is located in 1st Floor, New SAC equipped with modern state of the art components, necessary for an Electronics Lab. We are a group of “Electronics Enthusiasts” with a goal of inculcating the passion for electronics among the IITG student fraternity. We provide a platform and required resources for the students to gain practical skills and realize projects. We strive to teach and help students acquire new skills in an era of rapidly evolving technology. The mission of the club is to expose students to challenges and new technologies in the field of electronics and thus to nurture and develop their skill set in this arena. The emphasis is on experimenting and learning, no experience is necessary but eagerness to learn is essential.
What we do ?
Electronics Club is one of the active clubs in the Technical Board of IIT Guwahati. We conduct various events around the calendar. We host workshops and lectures by prominent senior members of the club, people in the industry, and professors which helps students in acquiring new skills in this continuously developing field. We take up innovative projects which are both fun filled and solving real life problems. We also mentor students with projects who are interested but new to this field with required resources and technical assistance. We participate in various competitions held across the nation representing IITG. Here, the members not only develop their technical knowledge but also leadership and other problem solving skills which makes them grow as a person too.
